Sustainability Tip: Buy Used Textbooks

Buy used textbooks whenever possible to help recycle, reduce waste, and reduce deforestation. It will also save you money. In 2006, the AS Bookstore recycled over 100 tons of paper through textbook buybacks. 1 ton of paper equals 17 trees, so the AS Bookstore and student efforts ended up saving 1600 trees.
