Art of Diversity Inaugural Art Show

The Office of Diversity is launching a new art exhibit, and we need your help to make it happen. The exhibit will be up for the entire month of March 2009, and submissions will be accepted from Nov. 3 - Jan. 31. The submissions form is available online.

Bring your kids to Laxson to see The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, presented by Chico Performances, Jan. 30

Kids and parents alike will love this musical. Adapted from the popular children’s book - The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley will take you on an adventure across the world right here in Laxson Auditorium, on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 in Laxson Auditorium.

Ten-year-old Stanley Lambchop makes it cool to be flat. Although a rather unfortunate encounter with a falling bulletin board has turned him into a human pancake, Flat Stanley charms kids of all ages as he travels the world in his quest to become 3-D again. Along the way, he learns about different cultures through song and dance, and makes friends everywhere he goes. Adapted from the well-loved children’s book, Flat Stanley is sure to be a family hit.

Tickets are $15 Adult | $13 Senior | $10 Student/Child and are available at the University Box Office, 898-6333.
