Update on the Wildcat Recreation Center (WREC)

The Wildcat Recreation Center (WREC) construction is going well. The exterior of the building is just about complete and focus is now on the interior spaces and finishes. The Associated Students are scheduled to take ownership of the building in May to begin move in of equipment, furniture, and supplies. Limited access and programs should be available during the summer months with a grand opening planned for August when students return for the semester.

The opening of the WREC will present a variety of employment possibilities for students. Information on a student job fair to promote the facility and employment opportunities will be announced in the next couple months.
