Delta Sigma Pi Hosts Raffle March 23
The interns of Delta Sigma Pi are hosting a raffle the week of March 23. Funds are being raised to donate to the Rape Crisis Center for Prevention. The grand prize will be a Playstation 3, but there will be a multitude of other prizes offered. There will be booths located outside of Glenn Hall that the tickets will be sold from. Monster energy drinks and Go Girl energy drinks are being given out for free. So stop by and support our Event.

BIS Society Trip to Foster Farms, March 24
The BIS Society is hosting a trip to Foster Farms Tues., March 24. This is great opportunity for students to see a top rate operation and witness it’s Information Technology (IT). Foster Farms is a SAP managed business, and is about so much more than just chicken.

Campus Wellness Center Presents "It's Easy Being Green"
Become more aware of environmental issues affecting you - come to the Campus Wellness Center’s forum entitled “It’s Easy Being Green.” AS EARC (the Environmental Action and Resource Center) will be facilitating this event - that is sure to unearth the environmentalist in you. California Pre-Doctoral Applications Available
Upper division undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply for $3,000 in funding from the California Pre-Doctoral Program. This Program is designed to support the doctoral aspirations of California State University students who have experienced economic or educational disadvantages.
Online applications are available for the 2009/2010 California Pre-Doctoral Program. The deadline to submit your application is Mon., March 16, 2009 at 4pm. Please submit your original application plus three copies to the School of Graduate, International & Interdisciplinary Studies located in the Student Services Center 440.

French Club, March 12
Parlez Vous Francais? Do you speak French? Well, if so, it’s time for another meeting of the French Club. This week we will be watching a French movie. Since it is the last week before Spring break we will be relaxing, eating some popcorn, enjoying a nice movie (with English subtitles), and hanging out with a bunch of new people. It will be in Glenn 123 at 6:30pm this Thurs., March 12. For those of you who haven’t paid the $10 dues, you can do that this Thursday as well.

Toy Drive
March 10 - April 10, 2009
Used or new toys are needed to help increase positive interactions between parents and children. Toys will be donated to parents and children in need of toys. These toys will be used to help parents and children improve the quality of their relationship while teaching parents the skills to manage their child’s severe behavior problems.
The following toys are needed:

Lego’s, Duplos, Tinker Toys
Miniature Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head
Miniature people
Crayons, stencils, paper
Miniature farm animals with trees and fences

Pride/Safezone - LGBTQ Meetings Tuesdays - 4th Annual Running With Pride
CSU, Chico Pride/Safezone hosts weekly LGBTQIA meetings Tuesdays in BUTTE 323 6pm - 8pm. Next meeting will be held on March 24.
Pride is designed to provide socialization and interaction between lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and straight-allied college students. Pride also functions as a political, social service, and educational body on campus.
Pride/Safezone events in Spring 2009 include the 4th annual Running with Pride, a 5 mile run/fun walk on May 3, and a LGBTQIA social/dance.

Doctor Norman Finkelstein discusses the recent updates of the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the future prospects of peace.
