Last April, PAU , Enterprise Rent A Car and Activity Fee Council, crowned the third winners of the Mister and Miss Chico State Scholarship Contest. Congratulations to Spencer Blair and Lynessa Williams!
They both earned $1,000 awards from the Competition.

To be eligible to compete you must:

Be a Chico State student, not graduating this May
Have a 2.0 cumulative GPA
Have some community service background
Complete an application

The competition consists of 6 rounds, 3 of them are interview question rounds staggered throughout the show, where you are asked one question and then you give your perspective on the issue. These categories are worth more points than the other catergories. The other three consist of Professional Wear, Evening Wear and Talent (talent can be any number of things from dancing to monologues or any other special talent you may have, talent can be discussed or decided at a later date).

This competition is a great opportunity and it looks good on your resume; it gives you interviewing skills, verbal communication skills and overall prepares you professionally for the work world after college.
