Central Plant Modifications Project - Power Shutdown August 12th from 5 a.m. to Noon

In support of the Boiler Chiller expansion project now under construction, a 12kV electrical shutdown is needed on August 12th from 5 a.m. to noon. This power outage will only affect the following facilities: Acker Gymnasium, Yolo Hall, University Stadium, Nettleton Stadium and Soccer field lights.  

The purpose of this event is to support essential safe work practices while preparing to connect the project to the existing campus 12 KV electrical system serving the above listed facilities. The listed buildings will be closed during this time period with no access. 

This shutdown will not affect buildings or facilities not listed above, and Shurmer Gymnasium will not be affected by this work.

To decrease the likelihood of property damage, please ensure that all electronic devices within your office are turned off prior to the planned shutdown. Examples of devices that should be turned off include: computers, monitors, printers, and office copiers. Campus Network services will not be impacted by the electrical shutdown except in the above listed buildings.
