About Teaching and Learning Critical ThinkingCritical thinking ability develops gradually as we learn to organize our world logically and gauge probabilities with increasing success. Instruction in particular subject areas almost always includes an element of teaching critical thinking by example. Our courses in critical thinking examine formally and informally the logics that give structure to thinking itself. In this way, we continue the lifelong project of becoming more aware of our own thinking and the thinking of others. The Administrative EnvironmentTeaching and Learning Topic List
