Michael Rich (Ph.D. University of Kent) Michael Rich received his Ph.D. from the University of Kent, specializing in the theories of Marx and Freud. He joined the faculty at California State University, Chico in 1987; the classes he regularly teaches include Reason and Religion, Critical Thinking, and Introduction to Philosophy.
