States Air Force Reserve, Beale AFB, CA
Managed, organized, and prioritized unit inspection program which resulted
in Excellent rating by Headquarters Air Force Reserve. Held supervisory
responsibility for the education, training, and morale of 5 enlisted
personnel. Qualified in operational food service equipment safety
instruction and sanitation. Developed interactive computer training module
based on a game show format that is used by the Air Force Institute of
Technology to instruct new Services Officers. Routinely plan and execute 1
to 2 day field training exercises for over 200 personnel involving training in
such areas as foodservice, lodging, recreation and fitness, first aid, chemical
warfare, and command and control. Developed and implemented several new
classroom training modules which increased retention and made learning more
fun! Implemented a “Teambuilding” day at the unit to build morale and
communication between team members. Planned and executed the first ever joint
Active Duty/Reserve Search and Recovery exercise at Beale AFB involving over 50
personnel. Currently serve as the California Reserve Officers Association
Air Force Junior Vice President. Unanimously selected to run for National
office in 2002.
