Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator (MBTI) Administration and Interpretation
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is widely applied in the career
development field to help people toward more informed
career decisions. This is an assessment of individual preferences, not a test of
right or wrong answers, and it is fun! We use the MBTI in career planning
to assist you to Increase your understanding of personal preferences
and use that information to explore various careers that will be supportive, challenging, and interesting. After taking the assessment, you will receive a computer-generated report with
suggestions for occupations and academic majors for you to explore.
Register
and pay for the inventory by going to the Career Center,
SSC 270, or by calling 898-5253. The fee is $10.00.
You
can take the assessment on the computers in the Career Center any
time during our office hours, but you need to take it at least 2 days prior to
the interpretation date.
Please
allow one hour for both the administration (taking the assessment) and the
interpretation (getting and using the results).
