CSU, Chico Surplus Property Available to Public Schools
The Office of Property Management at California State University, Chico, would like to invite your organization to view our surplus property. Our furniture items are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Viewing and Selection Hours occur on the second Thursday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
At the time of viewing your organization needs to provide:
- A vehicle to take all items selected by 3:00 p.m. Items will not be held for later removal.
- School Personnel with signature authority may attend.
For your safety, appropriate footwear is a must while attending the surplus property viewing. No open toed shoes or sandals will be permitted.

Surplus Property Available to All Departments
The Office of Property Management would like to invite your department to view our surplus property. Items include the following:- Desks
- Filing cabinets
- Tables
- Miscellaneous Office items (Examples: Binders and Desktop Organizers)
These items are available on a first come, first serve basis. Viewing hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, located at the Warehouse, 810 Oak Street, Suite 100.
At the time of viewing, you may want to have a departmental vehicle available to take the smaller items selected. Items will be held for 5 working days. If the item(s) are not picked up after that time the item(s) will be returned to the surplus inventory.
For your safety, appropriate footwear is a must. No open toed shoes or sandals will be permitted.
