Rick Ruddell, Assistant Professor, received his Masters in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University, and his Ph.D. in the Criminology and Criminal Justice program at the University of Missouri at St. Louis. Professor Ruddell's research interests are criminal justice policy, juvenile justice, corrections, firearms policy and lethal violence. His publications have appeared in Crime and Delinquency, Juvenile and Family Court Journal, and the Criminal Law Quarterly. Prior to his academic career, Professor Ruddell worked as a supervisor and manager within the Department of Corrections and Public Safety in Saskatchewan, Canada.
