About
The Community Legal Information Center (CLIC), established in 1970 as the Public Law Internship Program, is a collection of programs which serve the community by providing free legal information and referrals, presenting seminars, workshops, and information packets. CLIC is staffed by California State University, Chico student paralegal interns, who in addition to providing free legal information and referrals, provide free legal representation to clients in administrative law forums.
CLIC provides legal information, not advice, as we are not attorneys. |
| CLIC is funded primarily through CSU, Chico Department of Political Science, the Associated Students and from a grant by the City of Chico. To effectively dispense information and ensure greater expertise in a particular area of law, CLIC is divided into various specialized programs. CLIC takes great pride in its organization and the services it provides for the community. |
