Political Science Chair Mahalley Allen

Hello alumni and friends! Greetings from the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice. I hope everyone is staying cool during these hot summer months.

In this issue of our newsletter, we are featuring our undergraduate general political science program and celebrating the 10th anniversary of our Town Hall Meeting program. Please take a few minutes to read about the accomplishments of our faculty members, students, and alumni and learn more about how we are celebrating ten years of civic engagement in our department. We hope you enjoy learning more about our programs and students.

Our department continues to grow, both in terms of students, faculty members, and staff members. We have over 1,100 students majoring in our degree programs, and this fall we will welcome five new assistant professors to our department. We will also soon welcome a new Administrative Support Coordinator. Please check back in our fall newsletter for introductions to our new colleagues.
