Subject: Policy on Photocopying Charges
PHOTOCOPYING CHARGES
It shall be the policy of California State University, Chico normally to charge $0.25 per page to photocopy materials when complying with requests for copies of public documents, subpoenas, and other materials that are of standard (8.5 x 11 in) or legal size. For copies of larger or irregular size, the standard charge will be $0.40 per page.
Managers will continue to have the discretion to waive copying charges when the number of pages is small and the cost of processing payment is likely to exceed the amount charged. The intent of this policy is to establish a guideline to provide reasonably consistent charges for photocopying requests from across campus.
