Subject: Minor Changes to the Theatre Arts Core and Advising Patterns
THEATRE CORE AND ADVISING PATTERNS
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve the deletion of THEA 061 - Introduction to Theatre, from the Core and the addition of both THEA 163 - Costume Performance, and THEA 173 - Technical Theatre Performance, to the core. This reduces the number of required units from 30 to 29.
The required units in the Advising Patterns will increase from 10 to 13-14 units. The units to be selected will be reduced from 10 to 7-8 units. The number of units in the major will remain the same at 50. The changes will be effective Fall 1997.
