Subject: Approval of New BS in Biochemistry
BS IN BIOCHEMISTRY
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and the Provost, and with the approval of the Chancellor's Office, I approve a new BS in Biochemistry within the Department of Chemistry, College of Natural Sciences, effective fall 2007. The new major will require 73-75 units; the number of units required for the BS will be 120 units. The program has been assigned reporting code 04141.
