Subject: Approval for Minor Changes to Programs in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science
PROGRAMS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF NUTRITION AND FOOD SCIENCE
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the programs listed below within the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences, College of Natural Sciences effective fall 2009.
BS in Nutrition and Food Sciences
Course requirements for the major will change the units required from 67-69 to 69-75 units for the major.
Option in Dietetics
Course requirement changes will change the units required from 26 units to 35 units.
Note: Admissions criteria approved on EM 08-030.
Option in Foodservice Administration
Course requirement changes will change the units required from 24 units to 31 units.
Note: A new Option in Food and Nutrition Communication was approved on EM 08-031.
Minor in Nutrition
Course requirements for the minor will change from 24 units to 23-24 units.
