Subject: Interdisciplinary Center on Aging Approval
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the establishment of the Interdisciplinary Center on Aging, effective fall 2009.
The Interdisciplinary Center on Aging (ICOA) will be overseen by the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the School of Social Work. Its mission is to focus on education, research, scholarship, and community service, and the creation of innovative partnerships to support the needs of the North State Community.
