Subject: Approval of Significant Change to the Option in Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) within the BA in Kinesiology
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate, and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the Option in Physical Education Teacher Education within the BA in Kinesiology. These changes are being made to reduce the number of units required for the Option, and to comply with the accreditation policies of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The total number of units will be reduced to 120. These changes will be effective Fall 2011.
