Subject: Approval of Minor Changes to the Option in General Music within the BA in Music
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the Option in General Music within the BA in Music. The changes are being made to bring the option into compliance with the accreditation standards of the National Association of Schools of Music. The total units required in the option will increase from 20, to 24-25; there will be no change in the total units required for the BA. These changes will be effective Fall 2011.
