Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Advanced Placement Option for the RN to BSN within the BS in Nursing
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Advanced Placement Option for the RN to BSN within the BS in Nursing. In 2009, the California legislation passed AB 1295 mandating CSU campuses to eliminate the requirement of duplicative courses from the program. In response, the School of Nursing will delete NURS 306, NURS 315W, NURS 385W and NURS 425, reducing the units for the option to 44. This change will be effective Summer 2012.
