Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BS in Health Science
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BS in Health Science. This change reduces the number of required courses in the Major Core Program from 6 to 5 by removing HCSV 490, a 1 unit internship/seminar. The one unit reduction is made up by increasing the required units for HCSV 489 from 5 to 6. This change aligns with accreditation standards. The total units for the major remain unchanged. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
