Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Minor in European Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Minor in European Studies. This change increases the number of units from 21 to 23. This 2 unit increase occurs in the language requirement. All appropriate language courses for this minor are now 4 units instead of 3, increasing the unit requirement from 6 to 8. Portuguese and Russian are being added to the list of languages a student can choose from. Also, the curriculum is being updated by removing courses not offered in the last five years. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
