Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BA in Economics
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BA in Economics. This change updates the curriculum by adding courses to and removing courses from the program to better meet the needs of the Economics students. This change also corrects the Major Option Course Requirement units. There is no longer an option with 33 units, so the range of units should be 18-32 instead of 18-33. The units in the Environmental Economics Electives within the Environmental Economics Option will change from 20 to 18-20 to reflect the true range of units available in this selection. The units for the major will not change. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
