Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Minor in Chicano Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Minor in Chicano Studies. This change reduces the number of units from 24 to 18. This is accomplished by reducing the Minor Core by 9 units and increasing the Breadth section by 3 units. The number of required courses in the Minor Core will be reduced from 4 to 2, and a set of electives will be removed. The number of courses selected from the Breath list of electives will increase from 1 to 2. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
