Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BA in Latin American Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BA in Latin American Studies. This change reduces the number of units for the major from 31-43 to 28-40 by reducing the number of elective units from 18 to 15. Other changes to the program include adding PORT 101A and PORT 102A to the list of language courses and removing courses from the program that have not been offered in five years. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
