Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BA in Asian Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BA in Asian Studies. This change updates the number of units for the major as well as for the elective lists due to the increase of all language courses from 3 to 4 units. The units for the major will change from 30-32 to 32, and the number of elective units will change from 21-23 to 23. This change also removes courses from the program that have not been offered in five years. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
