Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BA in Liberal Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BA in Liberal Studies. This change reduces the number of required courses in the core from 21-19. The two courses removed will become part of 2 new elective sections within the program. The number of courses required in the Professional Prerequisites will reduce from 6-5. The curriculum is also updated removing courses not offered in the last 5 years. The units for the major with change from 106-132 to 99-131. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
