Subject: Approval of Center for Enterprise Systems and Informatics Research

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the establishment of the Center for Enterprise Systems and Informatics Research effective immediately.

The Center for Enterprise Systems and Informatics Research will be housed within the College of Business. The mission of the center is to:

  • Promote and support faculty and student engagement in interdisciplinary research, sponsored projects, and curriculum development in the areas of enterprise systems (ES), informatics, and data analytics;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with organizations that use or develop ES and analytical tools; and
  • Acquire and maintain state-of-the-art ES environments and analytics software for research and teaching.
