Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Option in English Education within the BA in English
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Option in English Education within the BA in English. The change is being made to the Teacher Preparation Option Core. EDTE 255 (3 units) is being added as one of the 8 required courses replacing ENGL 489 (1-3 units). This will change the number of units in the Teacher Preparation Option Core from 35-37 to 37 in turn changing the number of units in the option from 47-51 to 49-51. This change will be effective Fall 2015.
