Pride stickers mark safe haven

Gay club comes out

Members of PRIDE cleaned out their closets Monday.
Surrounded by clothes and hangers, the club set up a booth decorated as a closet in the Free Speech Area in honor of National Coming Out Day. PRIDE is a Chico State club for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. [Link: Full Story]

Some say that small towns breed small minds. Many Chico residents have conflicting ideas on whether this is true.
