Subject: Minor Changes to the BA in Geography Advising Patterns
BA IN GEOGRAPHY ADVISING PATTERNS
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve the deletion of the Intercultural Studies Pattern and the Urban Economic Geography Pattern from the General Geography Option. The number of units required for the Cartography/GIS pattern has been increased from 18 to 24 units. The number of required units in the Core has been reduced from 27 to 18 units. The total number of units required for this major has been reduced from 45-57 to 36-54. These changes are effective Fall 1997.
