GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES - AREA A

Following review by the General Studies Advisory Committee and the recommendation of the Provost, I approve General Education (GE) status for the following courses:

Area A1 - Oral Communication
CMST 011, CMST 011H, CMST 012

Area A2 - Written Communication
ENGL 001, ENGL 001H

Area A3 - Critical Thinking
CMST 115, PHIL 002, PHIL 002E, PHIL 002H

GE status for the courses will be renewed effective fall 1999 and continue through the next normal review of Area A courses in academic year 2002-2003.
