Subject: Approval of New BS in Animal Science

BS IN ANIMAL SCIENCE

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, and with the approval of the Chancellor's Office, I approve a new BS in Animal Science within the College of Agriculture, effective fall 2009. The new major will require 83 units; the number of units required for the BS will be 120 units. The program has been assigned reporting code 01041.
