Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Minor in Recreation Administration

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Minor in Recreation Administration.  This change updates the curriculum to incorporate changes inspired by the new GE Pathways program.  It also changes the structure of the program.  Instead of a student selecting 3 courses from a list of electives and then choosing 9 units from any upper division RECR courses, a student will now select all 18 units from a set list of electives.  The number of units required for the minor will not change.  This change will be effective Fall 2012.
