Subject:	Executive Memorandum 00-105, Reorganization of the Department of Sociology and Social Work into the Department of Sociology and the School of Social Work.

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the reorganization of the Department of Sociology and Social Work into the Department of Sociology and the School of Social Work; both units will remain within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.

The Department of Sociology will be administered by a department chair and include the BA in Sociology and the Minor in Sociology.

The School of Social Work will be administered by a director and include the BA in Social Work.

This organizational change is effective fall 2000.
