Subject:	Executive Memorandum 00-27, Significant Changes to the Option in Information and Communication Systems

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the BA in Information and Communication Systems within the Department of Communication Design, College of Communication and Education, effective fall 2001. The number of units required for the option will change from 42 units to 39-42 units; units required for the major will remain unchanged at 54-64 units.
