Subject:	Executive Memorandum 00-30, Approval of New Core and Patterns for the Option in Accounting

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new core and three patterns to the Option in Accounting within the BS in Business Administration, Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems, College of Business, effective fall 2001. The option will remain at 27 units, but it will be restructured as follows:

Core - 9 units

Professional Accounting Pattern - 18 units
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Pattern - 18 units
Corporate Financial Management Pattern - 18 units

The new patterns will report using HEGIS code number 05021.
