Subject:	Executive Memorandum 00-37, Significant Changes to the MA in Communication Studies

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the MA in Communication Studies (formerly Information and Communication Studies) within the MA in Information and Communication Studies, Department of Communication Arts and Sciences, College of Communication and Education, effective fall 2001. The number of units required for the MA will remain the same at 30 units.
