Subject:	Executive Memorandum 02-08, Approval for Bidwell Environmental Institute

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the establishment of the Bidwell Environmental Institute, effective immediately.

The Bidwell Environmental Institute, supported by the colleges of Agriculture, Natural Sciences, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology and the Office of Sponsored Programs, houses three areas of environmental activities: research, education, and land protection.
