Subject:	Executive Memorandum 02-43, Approval for Significant Changes to the BS in Manufacturing Technology

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the BS in Manufacturing Technology, within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing, College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology, effective fall 2003. The number of units required for the major will increase from 92 to 98-99; the number of units required for the BS will remain unchanged at 128 units.
