Subject:	Executive Memorandum 02-46, Approval for a new Option in Physical Education Teacher Education

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new Option in Physical Education Teacher Education within the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science, College of Communication and Education, effective fall 2003. The number of units required for the option will be 87 units; the number of units required for a BA in Physical Education with the Option in Physical Education Teacher Education will be 146 units. The option will use reporting code 08351.
