Subject:	Executive Memorandum 02-48, Approval for Significant Changes to the Certificate in Outdoor Education

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the Certificate in Outdoor Education within the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science, College of Communication and Education, effective fall 2003. The number of units required for the certificate will be increased from 27 units to 27-36 units.
