Subject:	Executive Memorandum 02-95, Approval of New BA in Modern Jewish Studies

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new BA in Modern Jewish Studies, within the School of Graduate, International, and Sponsored Programs, effective fall 2002. The new major will require 42-43 units; the number of units required for the BA will be 120 units. The program has been assigned reporting code number 15102.
