Subject:	Executive Memorandum 04-25, Approval for a New Option in Special Events and Tourism

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new Option in Special Events and Tourism within the BS in Recreation Administration, within the Department of Recreation and Parks Management, College of Communication and Education, effective fall 2005. The number of units required for the option will be 38-39 units. The new option has been assigned reporting code number 21031.
