Subject:	Executive Memorandum 04-26, Approval for a New Certificate in Rural and Town Planning

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new Certificate in Rural and Town Planning, within the Department of Geography and Planning, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, effective fall 2004. The number of units required for the certificate will be 21 units.
