Subject:	Executive Memorandum 04-89, Approval of Minor Changes to the BA in Communication Design

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the BA in Communication Design, Department of Communication Design, College of Communication and Education. The total number of units required for the core will change from 12 units to 18 units, the total number of units required for the Option in Graphic Design will change from 50 units to 45 units, the Option in Information and Communication Systems will remain unchanged at 39-42 units, and the total number of units required for the Option in Media Arts will change from 40 units to 33 units.The total number of units required for the major will change from 51-62 units to 51-63 units. These changes are effective fall 2005.
