Subject:	Executive Memorandum 04-90, Approval of Minor Changes to the BA in Geography

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the BA in Geography, Department of Geography and Planning, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. The total number of units required for the core will change from 18 units to 24 units, the total number of units required for the Option in Human Geography and Planning (formerly the Pattern in Human Geography) will change from 12 units to 21 units, and the Option in Physical and Environmental Geography (formerly the Pattern in Environmental Geography) will change from 24 units to 21 units.The total number of units required for the major will change from 36-54 units to 45 units. These changes are effective fall 2005.
