Subject:	Executive Memorandum 04-92, Approval of Changes to the BA in History

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the BA in History, Department of History, College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The total number of units required for the core will change from 15 units to 21 units, and the total number of units required for the General History Option will change from 24 units to 21 units. In addition, upon the recommendation of the Provost and AURTEC, I approve significant changes to the Social Science Credential Option within the BA in History. The total number of units required for the credential will change from 45 units to 43 units. The total number of units required for the major will change from 39-60 units to 42-64 units. These changes are effective fall 2005.
